TheOffice of Undergraduate Admissionat USC is seeking a dedicatedSecretary IIto support the Director and the team in providing an exceptional admissions experience for prospective students and their families. This position is crucial for ensuring smooth office operations and providing compassionate support during a transformative time in students' lives.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and detail-oriented team player who has demonstrated success in owning a variety of tasks and projects with efficiency, excellent communication, and a commitment to customer service. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities:
· Efficiently manage and monitor the Director's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics for the Director and Office of Undergraduate Admission.
· Arrange and coordinate travel and lodging accommodations.
· Prepare and submit expense reports.
· Sort, prioritize, and respond to incoming phone and email correspondence.
· Attends meetings; take, prepare, distribute minutes.
· Initiate follow-ups and facilitate connections between team members and cross-functional campus stakeholders.
· Perform light reception and clerical work, including greeting visitors and general office tasks including sorting mail, photocopying, faxing, delivery or pick up of materials.
· Provide compassionate and patient customer service, with a genuine interest in supporting students and families from diverse backgrounds.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High school degree
· 1+ year in an administrative support role, preferably in a higher education setting.
· Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
Preferred Qualifications
· Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in office administration or a related field.
· 2+ years executive assistant or administrative assistant experience supporting multiple people and priorities.

The hourly rate range for this position is $25.47 - $28.50.
