UCLA Health Reimbursement Manager (Hybrid) in Los Angeles, California

You will be responsible for overseeing
financial and statistical information
for Medicare and Medi-Cal cost
reports. You will serve as a primary
contact for Medicare and Medi-Cal audits as well as support auditors in the review of cost
report reimbursement and third-party accounts. You will:
Prepare, review, and analyze financial and statistical information
Calculate contractual expenses for Medicare, MediCal, and other third-party payors
Review the annual AB915 MediCal Outpatient Supplemental Reimbursement forms and certification
Prepare and file annual GPP reporting
Analyze our hospital accounts receivable model, bad debt model, and accounts receivable roll-forward reports
Prepare MediCal P14 waiver reports and respond to waiver audits/questions
Analyze each hospital's net patient revenue budget
Support financial, federal, and state audit requests
Calculate annual PPS Medicare rates for internal hospital coding
Salary Range: $76,200-$158,800/annuallyQualifications
We're
seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly-analytical leader with:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, math, or a related field
Five or more years of directly-related experience
Background with net revenue and contractual expense calculations
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
Background in report writing and working with large data preferred
Knowledge of third-party payer regulations and contracts
Excellent communication and leadership skills
