Description

The PRIME-LA Student Assistant functions as a

triage resource for PRIME-Leadership and Advocacy Summer Foundations Program. In

this role, you will support with PRIME-LA programming efforts by effectively

triaging and engaging through various communication channels, including

in-person contact, phone calls, and emails. Follow guidelines and office

protocol established by the PRIME-LA Administrative Director to effectively

support a variety of situations and assist in the goals outlined for PRIME

Summer programming.

Salary

offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to,

qualifications, experience, and equity. The full hourly salary range for this

position is $17.50 - $38.00.

Qualifications

Required:

• Knowledge of working with diverse student populations.

• Demonstrate public speaking skills sufficient to successfully relate administrative and educational program information to faculty, staff, and students.

• Ability to make sound independent judgment and exercise strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

• Detailed oriented and ability to prioritize tasks.

• Ability to receive and manage confidential information appropriately.

• Ability to direct and coordinate a number of activities simultaneously in a dynamic, academic supportive environment.
