An Orthopedic Surgery Company in Los Angeles is seeking a strong Medical Biller/Collector. In this engagement, the Medical Biller/Collector will be responsible for reviewing insurance charges, collecting on commercial HMO,PPO, Managed Care and Medicare claims. The Medical Biller/Collector will be tasked with analyzing contracts, calculated reimbursements and submitting appeals/denials.

Must Haves:

• Following up with insurance companies via phone and through payer portals

• Must have experience with HMO,PPO, and Managed Care experience

• Must know how to analyze contract to determine if the patient is due for reimbursement, appeal or denials.

• Medical Terminology including- EOB, UB04/CMS1500, Reimbursement, Denials, Appeals
