Description A state of the art Hospital Business Office is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Billing Collection Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate billing records, handling all insurance collection operations, and provide essential assistance with insurance denials.

Responsibilities:

Manage insurance billing and collection activities.

Handle credit balances and initiate refunds when necessary.

Review accounts for unpaid claims and take necessary actions to collect.

Resolve billing discrepancies and clarify insurance denial reasons.

Collaborate with insurance companies to resolve unpaid claims.

Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records in line with the Health Information Privacy Act (HIPAA).

Adhere to all company policies and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
