KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Infrastructure Capital Projects & Climate Advisory (Transportation) in Infrastructure for our Deal Advisory (https://advisory.kpmg.us/) practice.
Responsibilities:
Function as a project manager and team leader on infrastructure and transportation/mobility development advisory engagements; assist practice leadership in recruiting, training, and mentoring team resources as well as participate in conferences and other marketing initiatives
Provide insights on commercial, financial, funding, planning and policy related topics associated with infrastructure and transportation/mobility development
Advise on strategies for optimizing public agency transportation/mobility projects or programs, forecasting capital and operating requirements, financing, and support clients in deal structuring and negotiating transactions by drafting and reviewing documentation, issue papers, and reports for external use
Analyze, evaluate and advise public agency clients on their key development activities including planning, project analysis, market demand, design, construction, funding, financing, operations, and maintenance of a project or program
Advise public agency clients on their transportation/mobility development strategies, including the use of public private partnerships, alternative delivery options, private financing and public funding sources
Serve as the lead contact in building relationships with and marketing our services to selected target clients, while leading and supporting the preparation of proposals to target clients
Qualifications:
Minimum five years of recent experience in transportation/mobility project or program development activities including demonstrated experience in an advisory consulting environment developing the following: complex large-scale transportation projects; transportation/mobility projects or programs for a public agency (for example: departments of transportation, transit agencies, turnpike authorities, state, county, or large municipality); and assessing and advising on strategic alternatives for transportation/mobility projects or programs
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate field
Deep understanding of transportation/mobility market conditions
Ability to provide insights to advise clients on various transportation/mobility transaction and procurement components including critical reviews of developer proposals such as financial capacity, financial models, governance, and structuring
Willingness and ability to travel
