Netflix Manager, Ad Ops in Los Angeles, California

We’re looking for a stunning, savvy Manager of Ad Operations who will lead the teams that steward ad campaign activations, troubleshooting, and maximize revenue delivery for our clients. In partnership with our Account Management, Marketplace, and Product teams, they will be responsible for designing best-in-class post-sales workflows that are both locally relevant and globally impactful.

In this role, you will
Lead the UCAN and LATAM Ad Operations teams that are responsible for campaign activation, troubleshooting, and revenue maximization
Partner with the Product and Business operations teams to iterate on scaled workflows, navigating between efficient vendor support and future state of automation
Partner with the Account Management and Marketplace teams to ensure on-time activation and efficient engagement model
Develop metrics and measure performance against business requirements, aligning improvement projects to bridge operational shortfalls and identify future improvement opportunities. Collect data to identify root-cause problems.
Define external vendor's support strategy and diversity to ensure proper day-to-day support, load balancing, and business continuity
Monitor Global delivery performance for the business inclusive of risk reporting and PMP/PG/Direct partner-spend to prioritize activation, escalation and troubleshooting
Capture future Ad Operations business needs as the business scales and translate to a future state of support (delegate, automate, eliminate)
Ensure consistency and alignment across all regional Ad Operations team, leveraging a follow-the-sun model
Oversee final feature and acceptance testing of new Ad Server features and capabilities that will be leveraged by the Ad Operations team to support the business
Drive continuous improvement on SLAs for campaign activation and optimization to exceed client and partner expectations
Advocate, understand, and communicate the company values
The ideal candidate has :
8+ years of Ad Operations, and/or Ad Tech experience with applied project management methodologies and certifications
5+ years of managerial experience, experience with global markets a plus
Deep comprehension of Commercial Ad Platforms (GAM/FreeWheel, Xandr, Nielsen, DV, IAS, Salesforce)
Experience working in proprietary Ad Technology is preferred
Strong familiarity with Direct IO, Programmatic, and Live Advertising
Strengths building cross-functional relationships, developing insights, managing projects, and articulating success
Mastered simplifying complexity, managing large sets of inputs, and prioritizing with precision
A data-driven approach to problem-solving and analysis; managing accountability for deliverables
Driven partnerships with Product and Business operations teams for tooling and workflow implementation
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and willingness to pivot as needed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
Fluent in Spanish and/or Brazilian Portuguese a plus
Experience in international environments
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $210,000 - $475,000.
