The annual base salary for this position ranges from $175,700.00 in our lowest geographic market to $415,400.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Global Sr. Creative Director, Women's Global Lifestyle leads a multidisciplinary team across Art & Design Direction, Narrative, Studio Management and Production teams. They will be responsible to drive creative ideas and collaboration across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that the team deliver integrated creative against the seasonal strategy. They will have a sharp connection to sport first and style second. They will blend the two to create best-in-class, Nike distinct work. They are experienced people managers and mentor multiple designers & brand narrative teammates, while building opportunities for personal development and performance management. This role will encourage and lead innovative thinking, collaboration, and teamwork.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Work with the VP, Global Creative Director of Women's to develop the Global Women's Lifestyle creative point of view on key projects and partner with brand marketing, strategy, digital marketing, retail, brand experience, concepts, and product, among others.

-This is a highly matrixed role that will require a partnership across multiple functions each day. It is based in Los Angeles, CA while many teammates will be based in Beaverton, OR, so this role will require a level of innovative and modern cross-functional relationship building .

  • Manage the Global Women's Brand Creative Lifestyle team, providing leadership, inspiration, mentorship, support and direction. Encourage excellence, ambition, and team spirit.

  • Work strategically to drive brand awareness and deliver strong engagement through creative deliverables.

  • Deliver outstanding photography, video content, digital design, and narrative in service of Womens Lifestyle on key projects and moments.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with photographers, filmmakers, illustrators, designers, and their agents for editorial creative, working strategically with other leads in the business to ensure the strongest approach to external talent.

  • Lead all aspects of art direction and narrative for Women's Lifestyle shoots for key projects, ensuring our content is always on-brand, connected to sport, diverse, contemporary, desirable and within agreed budgets.

  • Keep up to date with emerging trends in sport, fashion, design, film, art, media and technology as relevant to Nike and the design team.

  • Collaborate with styling, marketing, tech, retail, photography and editorial to lead teams through creative concept process and projects.

  • Develop the performance concept map look and feel to support merchandising and buy strategies.

  • Ensure all projects are well-planned, creatively exceptional, and delivered on-time.- Identify needs for training and development, coaching and mentoring.

  • Ensure teams function effectively to achieve Nikes business objectives.

  • Review project work for highest standards of quality, consistency, accuracy and successful completion.

  • Collaborate with the larger team to critically evaluate the creative process and continually improve it.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Design or related field, or combination of relevant education and experience.

  • 10+ years leading concept, design, narrative and/or art direction in a branded content, agency, editorial or marketing environment.

  • Understanding of Women's sport and style.

  • A passion for the Athlete, Sport and Culture.

  • Great people-manager and mentor, with a knack and passion for helping everyone on the team-especially senior-level and entrepreneurial talent-to grow, improve, succeed, and advance toward collective and individual goals.

  • Proven depth of experience in commissioning and directing design, photography, and moving image in digital and experience environments.

  • Existing relationships with relevant freelance photographers, directors, stylists, etc.

  • Excellent verbal and visual communication skills.

  • Depth of experience across online, print, and experiential design, with a solid understanding of content platforms.

  • Highly proficient in design, typography, and retouching using Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Astute attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills.

  • Experience leading a design/narrative studio and talent across various locations preferred.
