Dataprise General Manager: West Region in Los Angeles, California

About the Role: The General Manager: West Region is responsible for leading and driving the daily operations, having full P&L responsibility, setting the strategic direction, and managing all aspects of business planning for a specific geographic region of SMB clients. The primary responsibilities include leading and managing all operational activities, providing strategic and operational leadership, and associated support functions. This role will work closely with both direct and matrixed leadership teams to ensure that financial and growth objectives are met and support the overall organization’s vision, standards, and priorities. 

This position is for candidates who live in Los Angeles, CA.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Direct activities of the regional business unit, setting direction and strategy to achieve growth and profitability objectives and support the achievement of the organization’s financial metrics and goals as defined by the profit and strategic plans.

  • Provide guidance leadership and direction to Regional Associates through the development and deployment of business plans and operations that clearly align with the organization’s mission and goals.

  • Translate segment strategic plans and GPL strategic plans into action plans that fit the needs of the business.

  • Have full P&L/Cost Center responsibility for their division and is responsible for developing budgets and setting revenue goals.

  • Develop short and long-term plans for the organization including critical headcount identification, new product development and technology road mapping, operational and plant investments, and achievement of profit plan.

  • Collaborate with the sales / marketing teams to develop and implement regional strategies that enhance market penetration and increase revenue.

  • Monitor and analyze key metrics, customer feedback, and direct observations so that data-driven decisions are at the foundation of business decisions.

  • Measure productivity through analysis of performance and financial data to achieve productivity gains and manage budget to ensure operational and financial goals are met.

  • Monitor business performance against plan and adjust as needed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams to ensure alignment and assessment opportunities regularly to identify strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats.

  • Develop and manage organizational strategic planning and road mapping.

  • Stay informed of market and customer trends to anticipate developments and plan accordingly.

  • Identify and develop possibilities for future business growth including the identification and leadership of the merger and acquisition process.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction, high levels of service and promote continuous improvement efforts to drive repeated business and customer loyalty.

  • Effectively build a high-potential leadership team and organization capability.

  • Effectively collaborate across functions (working in the matrix) to build joint objectives to reach regional goals.

  • Drive cash flow conversion continuous improvement.

  • Drive Associate engagement and foster an environment where team members can thrive and are accountable for delivering exceptional technology and customer service. 

What Skills & Experience You’ll Need: 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration or related field, Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with progressive levels of accountability and responsibility in MSP and/or related support functions.

  • Minimum of 7 years of managerial experiences (including leader of leaders).

  • Highly motivational management and leadership skills to create a high performing team.

  • Strong business acumen and high level of strategic skills.

  • Process improvement and performance optimization experience.

  • Executive presence and demonstrated experience in leadership, coaching, empowering, and recognizing others.

  • Proven aptitude for strategic decision-making, planning, vision, and governance for customer experience and Service Delivery operations.

  • Exceptional collaborator with the ability to influence

  • Proven ability to professionally communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Proven ability to organize multiple priorities and manage projects and teams to achieve deliverables that meet or exceed agreements and expectations.

  • Develop, improve, and implement processes and support structures to maintain exceptional service and ensure that the needs of the organization are understood and met.

  • Sound judgment and conflict resolution skills.
