Description

We are offering a long-term contract opportunity in the insurance industry based in the Mid-Wilshire area. This role involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries, as well as monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action. This role is onsite five days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Handle eligibility calls from participants and their representatives

• Assist in the open enrollment process

• Modify participant records: add/delete, reinstate, terminate, and promote dependents

• Collaborate with providers to update participant and dependent coverage

• Set up coverage for retirees, as well as divorced and surviving spouses

• Set up COBRA and self-pay coverage when needed

• Monitor discrepancy reports and resolve issues

• Follow-up on various forms and verifications

• Assist walk-in participants with eligibility matters

• Compose correspondence related to eligibility issues and required documents

• Reconcile invoices and premiums

• Process refunds due to overpayment or loss of coverage

• Coordinate with other departments regarding participant information updates

• Assist department with various projects as needed

• Prepare daily correspondence/document for scanning.

Requirements • Proficiency in using Excel software, for purposes such as data entry, data analysis, and creating reports.

• Expertise in maintaining records with high accuracy and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using Outlook software for efficient email communication, scheduling appointments, and managing tasks.

• Possession of basic office skills, including typing, filing, and phone etiquette.

• Proficiency in using Word software for creating documents, formatting text, and editing content. TalentMatch®
