About the Position:

The Data Specialist you will work closely with the TPA Data Manager to learn and contribute to various data-related tasks, including data collection, cleaning, analysis, visualization, and general support for all service providers under the Third-Party Administration department.

Job Type: Full-Time

Position: Non-Exempt

Hourly Range: $21.63 – $31.25

Location: Los Angeles

What You Will Do:

  • Collect and compile data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Clean, transform, and validate datasets to prepare them for ingestion into Amity’s database.

  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

  • Support in the implementation of data quality standards and procedures.

  • Create data visualizations and reports for internal faculty and external service providers.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.

  • Providing assistance with onboarding and training faculty members and service providers on Amity's database.

  • Perform regular data integrity and quality audits.

  • Provide database technical support to faculty and service provider designated employees.

  • Update and maintain access to Amity’s database.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    What You Will Bring:

    Required:

  • 1-3 years’ experience or related work and/or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or other applicable discipline.

  • Proven track record of Excel.

  • Understanding of data governance principles, data security, and compliance regulations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn new techniques.

  • W illing to be trained on software used across the agency.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage tasks and priorities effectively.

  • Ability to adapt to evolving data technologies and industry best practices.
