Description

As a Customer Success Manager, you will be essential in nurturing and expanding our client relationships while driving new business opportunities. You will collaborate with company managers, industry professionals, and clients to develop and implement strategic solutions that address their benefit plan needs. Your proactive approach and deep expertise will ensure that clients receive exceptional service, maximizing their satisfaction and our company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Client Relationships: Oversee all aspects of client interactions with minimal supervision, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

  • Expert Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned benefit plans and groups, applying this expertise to address client needs effectively.

  • Implement Solutions: Execute client requirements and changes to benefit programs, ensuring seamless integration and client satisfaction.

  • Facilitate Meetings: Lead client meetings professionally, including preparing agendas, taking notes, and managing follow-up actions to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Review Documentation: Evaluate and approve client financial statements, Summary Plan Descriptions, benefit communications, and other critical documents for accuracy and compliance.

  • Monitor Financial Performance: Track client revenue, expenses, and profitability, recommending fee adjustments and preparing contracts and amendments to align with company financial goals.

  • Market Insights: Provide actionable feedback to management on market trends, competitive threats, and unmet needs, identifying opportunities to enhance our offerings and deliver greater value to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in customer success, account management, or a similar client-facing role.

  • Strong understanding of benefit plans, financial statements, and client service best practices.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects effectively.

  • Proficiency in analyzing market trends and applying insights to improve client outcomes.

    Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relationship management role, preferably in an insurance, benefits, or TPA environment. Experience in sales or sales management could be beneficial but is not required. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal and group presentation skills. • Ability to exercise independent judgment, manage multiple priorities and deliver high-caliber results. • Ability to understand complex situations and effectively resolve issues. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) required.
