Description
We are offering a temporary to full time employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the Financial Services industry, based in Los Angeles, California. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for day-to-day transactional accounting and managing a handful of clients individually. Your key role will be to prepare all bookkeeping records and handle them to the accountant for tax purposes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day transactional accounting tasks
• Manage individual clients and their financial records
• Conduct bookkeeping preparation and handover for tax-related purposes
• Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate reporting
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
• Utilize QuickBooks for data entry and financial reporting
• Execute month-end close tasks to finalize financial records
• Administer payroll activities to ensure timely and accurate payment
• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation.
Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) to manage outgoing payments and maintain financial records
• Skilled in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) to track and record incoming payments
• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial statements are accurate and complete
• Demonstrable experience in Bookkeeping, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately
• Proficient in Data Entry, ensuring all financial data is recorded in a systematic and organized manner
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
• Experience in Month End Close procedures to ensure all financial data is accounted for and accurate
• Familiarity with Payroll procedures to manage employee wages and salaries
• Experience in using QuickBooks for financial management and reporting tasks
