Overview

GENERAL SUMMARY

An ideal candidate will need to be a self-starter with the knowledge and energy to develop and execute Search plans. Additionally, you will be capable and confident in presenting your own strategic plans to the client(s).

­­­ Day to Day:

  • Manage and lead relationship with external Search Partner

  • Utilize organizational skills to manage and prioritize team daily work flow

  • Monitor budgets and billing process for accuracy and timeliness

  • Assist with the development of paid search strategies

  • Create client decks with Search Director, present to client, and oversee plan execution with Search Agency Partner

  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships internally (across departments) and externally (clients, media vendors)

  • Collaborate internally with Account, Creative, Strategy, Production and Measurement teams to ensure strategic alignment

  • Coaching, guidance, inspirational leadership and performance management of all direct reports

  • Proactively address process, workflow, resources and communications issues and impediments

  • Experience : Minimum 1-2 years of Paid Search planning experience with at least one of those being in a supervisory capacity Education : A bachelor’s degree Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of media research tools (Google Analytics) and ability to analyze syndicated research

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to apply critical thinking and analysis in business writing

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • Expert knowledge of AdWords Editor and Bing Ads strongly desired

  • Google AdWords and Bing Ads certification strongly desired

  • Experience with DoubleClick Search

  • Automotive or retail media experience is desirable

  • AdWords Certification a strong plus

  • Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principals and applying those principals in SEM a strong plus
