Description

We're looking for a Security Engineer - Application Security to join our team in San Ramon, CA. You'll be responsible for enhancing the security of our software systems, developing security tools, and collaborating with various teams to ensure secure coding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy application security tools and techniques.

  • Design and implement core security components like session management and secure configuration.

  • Collaborate with teams to make security recommendations tailored to their needs.

  • Integrate security tools into existing DevOps pipelines.

  • Analyze and remediate application code deficiencies.

  • Respond to application security incidents and conduct security reviews.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years in IT security engineering.

  • Strong development background with experience in multiple languages.

  • Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and security tooling (SAST, DAST).

  • Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53).
