Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Los Angeles, California

Description

A company in the fashion industry is seeking an AP Specialist to join the team! As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial obligations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks related to the accounts payable function and data entry. This position is fully onsite Downtown Los Angeles. Responsibilities:

  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation before payment.

  • Process and enter accurate accounts payable transactions into the system while maintaining all AP records.

  • Maintain meticulous record-keeping skills and a strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of reports and data.

  • Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices.

  • Maintain vendor files and reconcile vendor statements to ensure compliance and accuracy.

  • Assist in month-end closing activities.

  • Coordinate with other departments and interact with vendors/suppliers as necessary.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable.

  • Proven ability to accurately process and record a large volume of numerical data.

  • Expert level in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.

  • Experienced in invoice and data entry.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
