Description

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Los Angeles, California. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be essential in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. This role offers a temp to hire employment opportunity in the architecture industry where you will be supporting our Controller with various tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of client billing procedures, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, keeping track of all transactions.

• Maintain and organize numerous documents, including filing and record-keeping duties.

• Handle vendor relations, ensuring smooth communication and resolving any issues that might arise.

• Process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.

• Prepare invoices for billable projects, adhering to company guidelines and standards.

• Work with cash receipts, ensuring all cash inflow is properly documented.

• Conduct account reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy.

• Manage expenses, keeping detailed records for review.

• Utilize skills in MS Excel and Deltek for various accounting tasks.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Experience in handling Billing procedures and protocols.

• Familiarity with Project Accounting is required.

• Proficiency in using Deltek software for various accounting tasks.

• Advanced skills in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Experience in Filing and organizing financial documents is essential.
