Journeyman Welder

Job Description

Journeyman Welders needed for the second shift (3pm to 11:30pm) to join our aerospace team in Los Alamitos, CA.

Your main responsibilities will include assembling and welding aerospace products, particularly flex joints. You will set up and operate welding machines, follow strict manufacturing processes, and ensure high quality and productivity in all welding assignments. Additionally, you will be expected to provide guidance on maintenance and procurement related to welding equipment, assist and mentor other welders, and develop new weld schedules as needed. Understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to perform tasks correctly is crucial.

You must be able to troubleshoot welding issues, identify and correct weld defects, and manufacture shop aides for welding purposes. Achieving internal certification for working with materials such as stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, and aluminum alloy within 90 days is required.
