Description We are in search of a Proofreader to join our team in LORAIN, Ohio. In this role, you will be expected to scrutinize and correct written works and drafts, using your skills in Adobe Acrobat, Banner Ads, Blue Book, Capital IQ, and CCH Sales Tax. This job opportunity offers a short term contract employment.

Responsibilities:

• Proofread and revise content for accuracy and quality, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax.

• Communicate and collaborate with the internal team to clarify information and make necessary corrections.

• Use Adobe Acrobat and other software to create, edit, and finalize documents.

• Review and verify data accuracy in Capital IQ and Blue Book.

• Ensure compliance with the standards and guidelines in the creation of Banner Ads.

• Provide excellent customer service by resolving customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Use CCH Sales Tax for relevant tasks and ensure all tax related contents are accurate.

• Use your communication skills to effectively relay information within the team.

• Apply project management principles to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in the consumer electronics industry. Requirements • Position: Proofreader

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Proofreader or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat

• Experience with Banner Ads

• Familiarity with Blue Book

• Knowledge of Capital IQ is a plus

• Proficiency in CCH Sales Tax is desirable

• Experience with About Time software is beneficial

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Understanding of Compliance standards and regulations

• Experience in the Consumer Electronics industry is a plus

• Excellent customer service skills
