Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair refrigeration and/or HVAC equipment in commercial buildings. Repair or replace all types of pumps, refrigeration equipment, pneumatic valves, electric valves, heat transfer equipment, ventilation, and air distribution equipment according to prints, specifications, diagrams, or other instructions. Conduct commercial service work on commercial properties. Maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Identify maintenance risks on equipment and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services. Repair or replace components on various air conditioner units, chillers, rooftop units, cooling towers, and mini splits. Repair sheet metal products and equipment ducts and hoods for HVAC systems utilizing blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Maintain and repair fan, cabinet, and unit heaters. Maintain and repair gas heating equipment.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Lorain, Ohio and some days remote.
