. Randstad Staffing is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of all transportation functions, including safety and profitable backhaul management. The role focuses on ensuring cost-effective sourcing and revenue generation.

This is a permanent position with our client based in Longwood, Florida. The ideal candidate must be local and have previous experience in the trucking industry, either in dispatching or as a driver. A CDL is a plus.

salary: $46,000 - $60,000 per year

Responsibilities

• The Manager of Logistics is responsible for overseeing and leading all aspects of our transportation operations, including driver supervision.

• The Manager of Logistics will ensure there is adherence to all quality assurance programs and will lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

• The Manager of Logistics will also conduct timely performance reviews, manage performance issues and lead regularly scheduled team meetings while creating a safe and positive working environment.

• A successful Manager of Logistics will coordinate driver schedules, routes, drive time and down time, and will actively work towards improving productivity and efficiency in all areas.

• Communicating with customers and interacting with and assisting other departments to accomplish smooth, efficient and timely deliveries and operations as needed is an important part of this position as well.

The essential functions of this role include:
