Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Delivery Driver for our client in Longview, WA
Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Delivering furniture to customers
- Putting furniture together/ taking furniture apart
- Planning and Preparing delivery schedule for the week,
- Prepare deliveries for the following day including making sure that all furniture is built and ready to go out, ensure small items have not been forgotten and marked items have been sprayed w/ scotch guard
- Responsible for creating delivery schedules for the day including preparing the route, calling each customer with time frame windows. All customers must be calling with their time frame for the day by 10am.
- Preparing and organizing deliveries for the day including always having tools, straps, blankets, mattress bags and materials needed to provide delivery services.
- Caring and maintaining the delivery truck including reporting all maintenance issues to management, taking the truck in for scheduled maintenance, taking haul aways to the dump, cleaning out the truck at the end of each shift and washing the truck once a month and ensuring that the truck is kept clean, organized and fully stocked.
Ensuring that quality service for customers is #1- this includes taking great care when handling customers furniture to ensure that it remains damage free. It is your responsibility to thoroughly check items over for damage before going out for deliveries each day and immediately reporting all noted damage to warranty specialist.
Required Qualifications: •Hold a valid driver's license •Have a clean Driving record
*Wage: *$18-$19 per hour
