POSITION: Warehouse Equipment Operations Supervisor

DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage Operations

REPORTS TO: Director of F&B Operations

FLSA STATUS: Hourly

RATE: $30

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Directs in-bound and out-bound inventories of merchandise, equipment and supplies to ensure efficient storage and utilization of product.

  • Communicates with affected managers and front-line personnel regarding any voids, delays or other product changes that may affect a set-up, as well as to discuss alternative product needs where required to meet demand.

  • Communicates with vendors as needed to ensure timely delivery of ordered product and equipment set-ups.

  • Manages warehouse workforce that receives, stocks, rotates, and pulls product and equipment ensures that work is completed using safe practices.

  • Ensures proper procedures are met for orders through Purchase Orders, Invoices, and financial reconciliation

  • Responsible for the training, coaching and performance management of each member of the team.

  • Monitors workflow and ensures proper inventories are pulled for daily routes/ set-ups.

  • Supervises the completion of all daily warehouse work. Models and leads company culture and safety leadership, and all key initiatives relating to these core values, to provide a positive and productive work environment.

  • Owns and fosters effective communication at all levels of the organization. Maintains all business records and documentation as required including warehouse product and asset inventories, route inventory data.

  • Abides by all Company policies in the Human Resources Policies and Procedures, the Business Code of Conduct.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of warehouse and equipment

  • Set-up and tear-down of portable concession locations and satellite warehouse locations as determined by event needs.

  • Assist with recording of monthly inventory.

  • Assist with the laundering of concession uniforms.

  • Assist with cleaning of food service equipment including fryers, grills, and other equipment.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in management level position in warehouse operations and procurement

  • Minimum of three years previous supervisory experience, preferably in an high velocity environment

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Previous experience with inventory distribution

  • Must be flexible, have a sense of urgency, be able to respond quickly and resourcefully to internal and external

  • Working knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation procedures

  • Strong computer skills with Windows platform, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail

  • Extensive knowledge of Clover or similar food service program

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problems, propose, and implement solutions

  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Computer and Technical Skills to operate modern office equipment including computer, fax, phone, and copy machine

  • Must be energetic, outgoing leader that is self-disciplined with a strong sense of initiative, is detail oriented and has a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.

  • Must be knowledgeable of State and Local Health and Alcohol ordinances and the implementation of these ordinances

  • Positive attitude and neat appearance

  • Work ethics encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment

  • Must have basic math ability to accurately count inventory
