Job Description

Pay Rate: $55/hr-$65/hr

This is an engineer position so more enhanced than the automotive technician. This Provider personnel will troubleshoot and find root cause of issues in the sensors, warning lights, cameras, computing unit issues, application errors Provider personnel will find the root-cause and figure out how to fix it, but their responsibility stops when it goes into software. The Provider personnel must upload software packages to the car. There's no programming of software required, but they do need to upload these software packages in a Linux environment (basic commands)

Level 1

Debug, maintain and integrate software packages into vehicle platforms

Vehicles 2.5 support

Level 1 ATG-B hotline triage

V.I.P. updates and bring-up support

Documenting issues in Jira and Confluence

General ATG-B fleet operations support

Ad hoc support of various requests from development teams

Skills and Requirements

-3+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing automotive vehicles (disassembling and assembling parts of the vehicle) /OR really passionate about cars/robotics or aerospace and aviation

-2+ years of experience with automotive bus systems for analysis (FLEXRay, CAN)

-Really strong Linux experience-deploying/updating/installing software packages into Linux OS

-Extensive experience troubleshooting electrical systems/Previously worked in a troubleshooting role-specifically within electrical systems

-Bachelors in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, IT)-Associates degree in automotive or previously an automotive technician that became an automotive engineer -Previously worked in the OEM industry: Rivian, Waymo, Zoox, Tesla, Argo.ai, Momenta, Cruise, May Mobility, Nuro, Drive.ai, Honda R&D, etc., OR Aerospace industry null
