Robert Half Logistics Coordinator in Long Beach, California
Description Our company, based in Long Beach, California and operating in the logistics industry, is currently on the lookout for a committed Logistics Coordinator. In this role, you will be tasked with processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Additionally, you will monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions. This position provides a contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Responsibilities:
• Review and apply applicable charges to driver manifests with approval from the Dispatch Department
• Accurately batch, input, and process all driver settlement payments
• Conduct daily audits of driver manifests to confirm rates, add approved fees, and identify any duplicates or inaccuracies
• Ensure all necessary documentation such as tickets, signed hand tickets, and receipts have been uploaded to the associated TMP
• Assist in the resolution of Owner/Operator payment disputes as needed
• Perform data export for settlement transaction transfer to 'OOWeekly' for accounting driver settlement payment processing
• Update and maintain owner operator rate tables and payable setup in the Transportation Management System
• Become proficient in the company’s Transportation Management System, specifically understanding the driver settlements and dispatch applications
• Achieve designated KPIs weekly, monthly, and quarterly according to Company Policies
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the logistics industry
• Proven skills in Data Entry, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail
• Previous experience managing Customer Accounts in a logistics setting
• Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Experience in Export Customer Service, including knowledge of export regulations and documentation
• Knowledge in Import Customer Service, including handling of import procedures and documentation TalentMatch®
