Robert Half Logistics Coordinator in Long Beach, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in Long Beach, California. The role functions within the logistics industry and will focus on handling customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. The workplace environment will be fast-paced and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Review and apply charges to driver manifests with approval from the Dispatch department.

• Conduct daily audits of driver manifests for accuracy, ensuring rates are confirmed, and identifying duplicates or incorrect moves.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications.

• Monitor the status of customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status.

• Assist in the resolution of payment disputes related to Owner/Operator.

• Manage and maintain electronic and paper filing systems for office documents.

• Update and maintain owner operator rate tables in the Transportation Management System.

• Assist in driver manifest/document upload training.

• Perform data exports for settlement transaction transfers.

• Monitor and follow up on missing documentation using an internal system. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a logistics coordination role or similar

• Proficiency in data entry tasks

• Experience managing customer accounts

• Excellent customer service skills

• Experience in export and import customer service

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proficient in the use of standard office software and applications

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of logistical supply chain processes and procedures

• Proactive problem-solver with a strong work ethic

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
