Job Description

A large gas and oil company headquartered in Long Beach, CA is looking for a Director of Retail Finance and Analytics to join their team. This role will be responsible for developing and managing budgets for Retail Operations, analyzing data, and helping executives make the right financial decisions. The in-depth analyses will consist of: identifying productivity, cost saving opportunities, and providing market insights. They will be working cross functionally with the accounting, marketing, and operations teams on a monthly basis to recap financial results and drive growth in different lines of business.

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of experience in retail analytics or related field

5+ years of experience in a leadership role - with a proven track record of developing high - performing teams

Strong experience extracting and interpreting data, performing statistical analysis, financial modeling, and utilizing visualization tools

Strong experience in the retail industry - interacting with operations, analyzing customer behavior, market trends and financial metrics

Strong experience identifying new opportunities, forecasting trends, and developing long term plans to achieve business goals

Bachelor's Degree MBA

Experience with Power BI null
