Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced CFO to be part of our team, primarily operating in the real estate industry and based in Long Beach, California. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to oversee all the financial operations and strategies, partnering with the executive leadership team and managing a team of detail-oriented finance individuals.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and timely prepare financial reports and statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the development and management of financial strategies, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Oversee both internal and external audit processes, ensuring a robust system of internal controls.
• Strategize and lead tax planning, working closely with external advisors to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to implement financial strategies supporting the company's growth and objectives.
• Mentor the finance team, providing guidance on financial operations, career development, and detail-oriented growth.
• Advise on all financial matters, including cash flow management, capital allocation, and financing strategies.
• Develop policies to mitigate financial risks and ensure robust financial risk management practices.
• Work closely with other departments, providing financial insights that influence key decisions across the organization.
• Strategically lead the company's estate planning and entity structuring, ensuring financial reporting processes and systems support the company’s goals and scalability.

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in a relevant role
• Proficiency in 3M is required
• Demonstrable expertise in using Accounting Software Systems
• Experience in ADP - Financial Services is a necessity
• Must have a strong understanding of Business Systems
• Proficiency in CRM is essential
• Demonstrable expertise in Accounting Functions
• Must have experience in Auditing
• Knowledge of Budget Processes is a necessity
• Experience in Capital Management is required
• Must be well versed in Cash Flow Analysis
