Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position in the construction industry for an Accountant in Long Beach, California. This role involves a great deal of responsibility in maintaining accurate financial records and facilitating corporate audits and tax, while working closely with the Development and Real Estate Team for policy and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the monthly end closing of corporate financial books.

• Conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation of related party transactions.

• Collaborating with internal and external teams on matters affecting the corporate book.

• Reviewing and posting Journal Entries created by other accountants.

• Assisting in training other team members on accounting practices and standards.

• Creating and maintaining Audit/Tax Rollforward schedules for all entities.

• Performing ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.

• Managing intercompany reconciliation on a regular basis.

• Overseeing and facilitating Corporate Audit and Tax processes.

• Preparing necessary adjustments in compliance with GAAP requirements. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of CL Programming

• Familiarity with Concur

• Proficient with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Skilled in Auditing

• Experience in managing Balance Sheet Account
