Charles Schwab & Company, Inc. is hiring a(n) Sr Manager, Software Development & Engineering Senior (ref. Code 2024-100842 in Lone Tree, CO.
Duties: Collaborate with business, operations, and technology partners to deliver the systems integration and process improvement. Set up development best practices, processes, and tools to ensure high quality delivery of software projects on time and budget. Lead multiple parallel initiatives. Develop and present detailed systems architecture and design documents. Develop code in accordance with the Agile best practices and meet acceptance criteria. Provide hands-on technical coding and mentoring for all members of the team to ensure team and project success. Identify technology risks and dependencies early to establish mitigation plans. Meet periodically with onshore and offshore developers to review and improve code quality, requirements specification and design methodologies. Support release manager to assemble releases and drive improvements in the release process.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related. Requires 6 years of progressive, post-Bachelor's related distributed software systems experience. Related skills may be required.
