ManpowerGroup Project Manager - Senior (6-10 yrs.) in Lone Tree, Colorado

Our client, In the Finance Domain is seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager (Scrum) to join their team. As a Sr. IT Project Manager (Scrum), you will be part of the client team.

Job Title: Sr. IT Project Manager (Scrum)

Location: Onsite From Lone Tree, CO

Duration 12+ Months

Pay Range:$70-$75

Expert: Skills equiv. to 11+ years in comparable position.

Responsible for delivering quality products and solutions to customers by understanding product strategy and customer needs, supporting the development of business cases, developing business requirements and supporting product development and deployment.

Provides leadership and support to business and system partners through requirements gathering, process development, change management and training programs.

Develop and execute an overall project plan, communicate project status and escalate issues, manage risk, conduct post-project evaluations, maintain issues lists and resolve outstanding issues.

Must have strong project management skills in financial services, systems development, product development and/or project/product management.

Experience in demonstrating leadership and collaboration in a matrix-managed environment and across multiple and diverse groups.

Strong consultative, listening, communication (both verbal and written) and analytical skills.

Solid understanding of formal development methodologies.

A PMP Certification is preferred

• Play an essential delivery and problem-solving role within Corporate Vendor Management (CVM) focused on project leadership, technology enablement, and process optimization.

• Quickly develop an expert understanding of the Corporate Vendor Management business and applications to best understand the full implications of system change from system development activities

• Be a solutions-oriented resource for the department, working with the various functional areas to determine system/process enhancements and automation opportunities to add scale to the vendor management lifecycle

• Business Analysis

• Solicit and capture business requirements through stakeholder interviews, reviews of business processes and current system design ensure the requirements are understood by all stakeholders (user stories, process flows, use cases…)

• Have strong technical skills and ability to quickly learn business processes to effectively support system and process enhancements.

• Support the User Acceptance Testing phase of implementation, including coordination of issue analysis / resolution

• Be a trusted liaison between the business and technology teams, understanding needs / requests, supporting releases that reflect those needs and working to see them implemented flawlessly

• Offer effective and efficient technical solutions that promote automation and efficiency gains.

• Have strong technical skills and ability to quickly learn business processes to effectively support system and process enhancements.

• Project Leadership

• Deftly navigate organizational structure/politics to influence program direction, decisions and delivery to achieve desired business outcomes.

• Acquire knowledge of business processes and supporting technologies to define project scope, lead cross-functional designs and ultimately realize the value of the initiative through successful delivery.

• End to end project planning and execution using project management best practices, developing integrated project plans with milestone management and interdependencies, risk management and resource planning.

Including: Manage business and technical deliverables to the project timeline throughout the various project phases.

Develop and document project plans, and schedules.

Identify and document the roles, tasks, and responsibilities of the project team.

Must have strong project management and project planning experience/knowledge with demonstrated ability to drive projects to successful completion What you have:

• Capability to manage a dynamic workload, aligning with business partners on priorities and deliverable dates

• Highly motivated, delivery oriented, organized approach with demonstrated leadership abilities

• Excellent facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills

• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to tailor messages to audience and senior leadership

• 3-5+ years prior experience managing projects of varying discipline (PMI, PMP Certification or Scrum Master Certification preferred)

• 3-5+ years of business / system analysis

• Proven track record of building effective working relationships with senior level business partners and internal / external stakeholders

• Self-starter, able to manage multiple projects and succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal direction

• Ability to translate business needs into business requirements and technical specifications and solutions

• Strong analytical skills, ability to research problems, determine root causes and solutions

• Experience in developing and delivering executive level PowerPoint
