Job Family Grouping: Exposure Management

Job Family: Casualty and Credit Exposure Management

How does this role contribute to our collective success?

This role will contribute to the development of a robust Exposure Management process across Casualty, Credit & Surety and Mortgage lines, by supporting pricing, exposure and loss accumulation and related reporting.

What will you do in this role?

  • Prepare exposure datasets for analysis and maintaining the team’s exposure database.

  • Support Credit and Surety pricing process as required.

  • Use internal and external models to assess loss potential across Casualty, Credit, Mortgage and Surety lines.

  • Produce exposure and loss summaries and preparing exhibits for internal and external reporting, including the AXIS Threats Framework and regulatory reporting.

  • Contribute to team initiatives, including general research, tool development, validation, and data analysis.

  • Support the automation of developing processes to minimize manual intervention and build efficient and controlled workflows.

You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

What you need to have:

  • Solid understanding of key financial, mathematical, and statistical concepts

  • Advanceddata manipulation skills

  • Effective communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Strong problem-solving skills

What we prefer you to have:

  • Some experience with SQL, Python or R

  • Ability to check quality of own work

  • Analytical and research skills

Role Factors:

In this role, you will typically be required to:

  • Be in the office 3 days per week (current Axis policy on flexible working, which is subject to review)
