What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Manager, Cash Management, you’ll partner with the Commercial Banking Relationship Managers to champion CIBC’s vision of being “The Leader in Client Relationships.” As a Senior Manager, Cash Management, you will work within a team of dedicated cash management specialists and treasury professionals. Reporting to the Director and Team Lead, you will be responsible for client service, and portfolio management. This includes supporting business development activities, conducting analyses to understand clients’ business requirements and proposing cash management solutions to meet their needs. You will work with several internal and external partners to support a wide range of clients, contributing to cross-selling efforts as well as activities supporting business growth and superior customer service.

How you’ll succeed

  • Business Development – Develop new client relationships through business development activities leveraging referral sources, existing clients, and centers of influence. Actively monitor and manage these relationships by fully understanding our client’s goals, objectives, and status of our client's business.

  • Cash Management – Structure, negotiate and document cash management arrangements with clients and prospects that meet client needs. Provide direct coverage and manage a portfolio of Commercial and Large Corporate clients.

  • Collaborate – Work with internal partners to connect clients with opportunities. Commit to building a profile in the local business community to leverage that profile into effective working relationships with new and existing clients and internal partners.

Who you are

  • You have demonstrated experience. You have experience in Commercial Banking Cash Management working with clients with complex cash management needs, proven business development skills, and highly developed negotiating skills.

  • You put our clients first. You have well-developed client and relationship management skills. You engage with the purpose of finding the right solutions.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related field

  • You're driven to succeed. You are motivated by accomplishing your goals and delivering your best to make an impact.

  • You have business and financial concepts to effectively articulate the cash management value proposition, as it relates to the impact on financial statements
