About This Position Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm This position is working in a warehouse inside of a prison and supports inmate labor. The Operations Team Lead assists in the coordination of all Distribution Center Receiving, Shipping and KCN functions at assigned warehouse facilities and/or commissary on-sites. Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following: Assist and manage training of new team members Assist with getting all orders shipped and filled by end of day to ensure customer satisfaction Make sure team members are daily checking out and returning knives, scan guns, radios Maintain working knowledge of all phases of your department operations Confirm orders are properly tendered, selected and loaded Make sure employees are working where needed and employees are staying busy Assist to maintain accurate inventories of all products Complete required reporting Make sure Dashboard is checked and cleared out daily Provide recommendations on areas of improvement Document and inform Management of all priority tasks and personnel problems Report any problems, discrepancies, issues to Management in a timely manner with written documentation Responsible for assisting with general upkeep of all areas/equipment/products in a neat, clean, and orderly manner Set example to promote positive attitude and teamwork! Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace Other duties as determined by the needs of the business What You'll Need High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Valid driver license Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) Requires supervisory skills: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others Benefits Keefe offers comprehensive benefits to all regular-full time employees: Medical w/prescription coverage Benefit Credit received when enrolled in a TKC medical plan, to help offset your benefit costs.
