Your day at NTT DATA

As the Vice President of Finance Transformation NTT Data Inc. (EMEAL), you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic finance related change initiatives while ensuring financial stability and growth. This senior leadership position merges the responsibilities of transformational management and financial oversight to achieve operational excellence and support NTT's business objectives.

What you'll be doing

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and Execute Comprehensive Finance Transformation Strategy:

  • Lead the development and execution of a holistic finance transformation strategy aligned with NTT's business goals and objectives.

  • Actively engage with global transformation initiatives to assess their suitability and value for the EMEAL business unit.

  • Critically assess current finance processes and finance operating models for areas of improvement as required by local finance teams.

  • Drive change initiatives to streamline finance processes, optimize efficiency, and enhance client satisfaction.

Collaborative Leadership and Team Management:

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture across both transformation and finance teams, focused on achieving operational excellence.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to teams responsible for transformation and financial management, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and country management to align transformation and financial efforts with broader organizational goals.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws across regions of operation.

  • Engage closely with Global and Local I&T specialists throughout planning, implementation and stabilisation of large business transformation initiatives.

  • Support local country change initiatives where required.

Strategic Decision Making and Risk Mitigation:

  • Use data-driven analysis to make strategic financial decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Assess and mitigate financial risks to safeguard NTT's profitability and financial stability.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Develop a transformation subject matter expert network across EMEAL region with a motivation for change and continuous improvement.

  • Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior leadership and board of directors.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align finance transformation initiatives with organizational goals.

  • Strong finance skillset primarily in FP&A and Accounting

  • Extensive knowledge of financial systems, processes, control and reporting.

  • Proficiency in change management methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for conveying complex information to various stakeholders.

  • Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Required Experience:

  • Extended track record of working cross-functionally with multiple teams.

  • Previous experience in both transformational management/leadership and financial leadership roles.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex transformation initiatives and managing finance operations on a global scale.

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the IT industry environment, combined with strong business process acumen.
