What Is the Opportunity?

• Within Travelers Europe, the Europe Operations division is dedicated to enhancing customer and agent experiences while driving revenue growth and maintaining profitable underwriting results. Our aim is to foster a culture of innovation and efficiency throughout Travelers Europe. • The Operational Effectiveness (OE) team focuses on managing and enhancing end-to-end (E2E) processes crucial to our business success. We continuously seek opportunities to advance and refine our process capabilities, while collaborating with and influencing our business partners to ensure alignment with our Travelers Europe strategy., change initiatives and production priorities. • As the Manager, Strategic Enablement (SE) within Travelers Europe's Operational Effectiveness team, you will play a key role in optimising end-to-end business processes to enhance customer, employee, and agent experiences. • You will contribute to improving business outcomes by supporting and influencing strategic initiatives, ensuring operational continuity. This role may involve overseeing a team of business professionals or helping to lead project teams to ensure alignment with TRV Europe business unit objectives and key results.

What Will You Do?

  • Proactively identify opportunities and issues through root cause analysis, active listening, and engagement with stakeholders across multiple teams, business areas, and processes.

  • Identify and evaluate process improvement opportunities, engaging key stakeholders to gain buy-in for implementation where appropriate. Initiate and implement multiple mid-complexity improvement opportunities.

  • Lead and oversee impact assessments, as well as the implementation and execution of assigned initiatives.

  • Take ownership and influence the end-to-end execution of operational components for initiatives of mid to high complexity, impacting the broader line of business. This includes monitoring benefits, managing risks, scheduling, implementation, and maintenance.

  • Evaluate tools and procedures for optimal process efficiency and identify areas for automation.

  • Identify process gaps using KPIs and conduct data and reporting analysis to address them.

  • Facilitate complex workflow updates and design sessions to drive process improvement recommendations.

  • Assist in prioritising efforts and advocating for resource allocation where necessary.

  • Optimise the performance of one or multiple processes, capabilities, and/or technologies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • 5 years of relevant business process management experience.

  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies.

  • Experience leading and managing complex projects.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of management.

  • Strong ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

  • Excellent analytical skills for tracking and evaluating current processes.

  • Strategic thinker with sound judgment in resolving issues.

  • Awareness of trends, emerging platforms, and new technologies, with the ability to identify best practices.
