You will be responsible for developing strategy and executing programs that reduce carbon emissions and improve the sustainability of our in-station and road operations.

As a Program Manager in AMZL (Amazon Logistics) Sustainability, you’ll be responsible for conceptualizing new and disruptive ways to reduce carbon emissions and to improve the sustainability based on our strategy and vision. This role is inherently cross-functional, so you'll work closely with operations, tech, finance and deployment teams to identify and implement customer experience, sustainability and cost saving improvements. You will be highly analytical, able to work effectively in a complex matrix organization, adept at synthesizing information into improvement plans and confident delivering at scale.

Key job responsibilities

· Leads and controls the roadmap of the assigned program. Possesses a broad operations and technical background, and has the ability to “roll up their sleeves” and jump in and drive resolution.

· Comfortable in different roles, sometimes supporting, sometimes leading.

· Is capable of taking accountability and driving planning, resolution and execution.

· Responsible for delivering the key metrics – program performance, program growth, on-time execution and launches.

· Work very closely with Product teams in order to understand product fit with EU marketplaces and/or customer expectations, identify potential benefits for the business, and prioritize projects within roadmap.

· Develop and execute weekly and monthly action plans to deliver programs as per roadmap.

· Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders and senior management using common knowledge platforms.

· Drive best practices with a focus on outcomes for our customers. You will identify initiatives that will continue to optimize our highly customer focused operational teams.

· Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and multitasking.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
