We are seeking an innovative and analytical Sr. Program Manager, Operational Excellence to join the Prime Video Trust & Safety Operations team. In this role, you will drive high-visibility, strategic operational programs aimed at improving processes and standardising business requirements as well as driving improvements in cost-to-serve initiatives. Prime Video Trust & Safety programs aim to enable a globally trusted customer experience by ensuring that Prime Video (PV) provides content customers love and trust and accurate, meaningful and complete information to empowering customers to make informed viewing choices for themselves and their children.

This role will focus on coordinating and implementing large-scale process improvement initiatives within Trust & Safety Operations. These are highly complex, thus requiring high judgement, autonomy, and trust with internal and external stakeholders. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage and iterate an approach to identifying, assessing, and driving remediation for a wide set of risks on our expanding catalog. The candidate must be comfortable with balancing strategic thinking with tactical, detailed execution while working independently, sorting through ambiguously defined problems, identifying and facing big challenges, and adjusting to sudden and frequent change. This role acts as a key liaison with various Trust & operations, quality and program/policy teams spread across multiple regions to drive immediate and long-term solutions. A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment, leveraging analytical expertise and resourcefulness to autonomously deliver successful results.

Key job responsibilities

  • Support global and country level excellence to design and implement systems, metrics and programs that maximize compliance, productivity and continuous improvement.

  • Build strong partnership with operations managers to identify new business initiatives and successfully integrate and deploy them.

  • Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers.

  • Analyze and solve operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes.

  • Work with technology teams and product managers to develop new tools and systems to support the growth of the business.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field and/or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in operations, program or project management.

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.

  • Experience implementing program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

  • Experience driving process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field.

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.).

  • Experience implementing operational improvements frameworks like lean, six sigma and root cause analysis.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
