The AWS EMEA Strategic Engagements & Comms team reports into the Chief of Staff for AWS EMEA, and is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Content & Channel Comms Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in developing and executing our business communication strategy, aimed at enhancing employee engagement and fostering a cohesive understanding of the EMEA business strategy across the organization. Key job responsibilities

-Develop and implement a comprehensive business communications strategy that aligns with Amazon's culture, values, and business objectives.

-Manage the creation and distribution of engaging content across various internal channels, including intranet, email newsletters, and internal collaboration tools.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Internal Comms, and Leadership, to ensure consistent messaging and support key organizational initiatives.

-Analyze employee engagement metrics and use insights to optimize communication strategies and improve overall effectiveness.

-Oversee the business events and communications calendar, ensuring timely and relevant content delivery to employees at all levels.

-Develop and manage leadership communications, including town halls, leadership messaging, and business-unit-wide announcements.

-Stay updated on best practices in employee engagement and internal communications to continuously innovate and enhance our approach.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

  • -Master's degree or MBA in Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • -Experience working in a global organization with a diverse workforce.

  • -Proficiency in internal communication platforms, employee engagement tools, and data analytics software.

  • -Creative mindset with a keen understanding of organizational dynamics and change management principles.
