Summary

The project manager works collaboratively across the Freeman enterprise as part of a multi-disciplinary team ensuring the successful, timely, and cost-effective implementation of global projects. With key involvement in pitches, proposals and client meetings, you will provide dedicated project direction and see projects through from pitch-concept, delivery, and post event reporting.

This position will support our EMEA Creative and Production teams. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office one day a week (typically Wednesdays) at our London location.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Takes briefs and briefing in required departments

  • Delivers events from start to finish

  • Client management

  • Manages multiple projects at one time

  • Manage and align project agreed scope of work/deliverables, including monitoring all budget spend and team time tracking

  • Manage and reconcile budgets

  • Lead budget creation managing and briefing all required departments/disciplines

  • Manage a team consisting of different skillsets dependent on project: from creative, design, logistics, sponsor fulfillment, H&S and technical production

  • Manage supplier and third-party relationships/stakeholders

  • Drive standards, quality, best practices and processes

  • Chair weekly team and client meetings

  • Where required, work with and alongside producers who would deliver show aspects of a project

  • Manage all required show and event documentation

  • Tracks and manages production timelines on active event programs; vendor invoice/expense tracking and final reconciliation. Develop and track project schedules, risk register, agendas and show flows as needed

  • Drives timeline with team and client as directed

  • Brief delivery teams on project scope/deliverables/track time

  • Oversee signage/graphics and décor development, site plans, copy, creation and placement

  • Works with other departments/agencies in order to produce, ensure quality, and deliver information/data to clients accurately and on time

  • Participates in RFPs, proposal responses, venue searching and client interactions for key accounts

  • On site delivery

Education & Experience

  • Event agency experience

  • Experience in delivering multiple concurrent projects with attention to detail in dynamic environments

  • Successful and demonstrable track record of managing high value P&L and maintaining margins

  • Ability to think innovatively and creatively

  • Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Communicates with confidence, able to effectively present information

  • Detail orientated with excellent organisational skills

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

PMP preferred.
