We are looking for a confident and motivated Project Manager to join our team in Siemens Rolling Stock! This opportunity involves leading complex projects within our UK-wide fleet operations. In this role, you will work closely with a diverse and experienced team to understand complex problems and develop innovative, cost-effective, and timely solutions. Your journey from hands-on roles to project leadership will be greatly valued, and you will provide guidance and support to stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will also be instrumental in fostering a collaborative environment and using the strengths of team members to achieve project success. You’ll make an impact by

• Taking ownership of deliverables relating to time, cost and quality to ensure the safe delivery of projects

• Aligning closely with wider teams, including the sales teams to offer expertise

• Expertly creating concise proposals to support the business strategy

• Fostering effective communication among stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any deviations from the plan

• Managing project risks and issues, implementing proactive strategies to mitigate potential obstacles and maintain momentum

• Continuously evaluating project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing lessons learned to enhance future rolling stock projects

Your success will be grounded by

• Your proven experience managing projects within Rolling Stock maintenance, ideally overhaul projects

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management at all levels

• A detail focussed approach to your work, to ensure projects are successful delivered

• IMPA Level D/ APM PMQ or equivalent

• Expert knowledge of delivering high standards of work using Primavera/MS Project/MS Office

• Being a team member who takes accountability for your role, and supports and credits others for theirs
