Aon is currently recruiting a Program Director to join our team in London. This is a hybrid position with a mix of office and home working. The successful candidate will own the development and delivery of large elements of the EMEA portfolio, from initial scoping and planning to resourcing management, budget oversight and delivery of agreed project outcomes.

What the day will look like
As a Program Director some of your key responsibilities will involve.
Supporting the EMEA Head of Change and COO community in developing and prioritising a portfolio of change, ensuring that the change roadmap is clearly defined, understood and managed.
Lead programmes and projects to completion within agreed timescales, financials and to agreed quality, ensuring that the benefits and outcomes are in line with expectations.
Ensure deliverables are clearly established with responsibility assigned and accepted by owners.
To proactively manage all internal and external stakeholder groups ensuring that Aon UK has a clear change plan which is understood and owned by all relevant key stakeholders.
To identify and mitigate all material risks to the organisation from a project and programme perspective.
To manage a programme / project team to ensure successful delivery of projects and programmes.
Contribute to, shape and deliver process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project and BAU delivery..
Skills and experience that will lead to success
As a Portfolio Director your skills and qualifications will ideally include;
Extensive understanding of Project Management methodologies and structures and can demonstrate a pragmatic application of these appropriate to a given audience and/or situation.
A successful track record of initiation, planning, execution and closure of complex projects.
Proven track record of technology deployment, process improvement, growth initiative development and delivery and a firm grasp of operational management principles.
Managing large complex teams made up of dedicated project and BA capability as a well as elements of SME resource.
Negotiating with all parts of an organisation to secure resource and/or budget, meet deadlines, attain approvals, embed process and manage conflicts.
Facilitation of project meetings; internal and third parties, including online/conference calls
Extensive insurance or broking environment experience.
Experience of having successfully delivered large scale business change programmes
Critical thinker and excellent communicator
Delivery focussed
Excellent time management skills.
