YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Procurement Analyst to be based in EMEA region.

They will bring commercial and contractual expertise to the sourcing arena for the central data centres team, including drafting of pre-qualification and tender documents, analysis of bids and preparation of recommendations and contracts that provide protection for both our clients and CBRE.

Role Summary:

  • Support procurement of data centres services suppliers

  • Support the management and performance of all data centres sourcing & procurement related activities

  • Commercial /contractual support to the data centres business

  • Proactively review required services

  • Prequalification and selection of 'best-in-class' preferred suppliers

  • Tendering of services including preparing bid documents

  • Negotiation and agreement of costs/fees, contract terms & conditions and SLA's

  • Review of suppliers for central framework agreements on an EMEAR basis

  • Assist with the standardisation of contract forms for data centres services contracts

  • Support with creation and management of contracts database

  • Subject matter expert for EMEA, Strategic Sourcing initiatives, central purchasing etc.

  • Carry out price analysis/benchmarking

  • Ownership of EMEA supplier contracts and savings tracker using CBRE technology Zycus and value track

  • Supporting other key areas of the business, project management and transaction management

YOUR PROFILE

  • Professional procurement qualification or working towards qualification (e.g. MCIPS qualified)

  • Strategic Sourcing/procurement of data centres Services

  • Experience in Corporate Real Estate Environments

  • Purchasing experience ideally within the data centres industry/sector

  • IT Skills

  • EMEA experience/coverage

  • Ability to be flexible, while responding to a fluid environment and sometimes conflicting priorities

  • Ability to establish rapport, instil confidence and manage stakeholder relationships

  • Measurement of performance and management through accountability

  • Strong analytical, financial, commercial and risk management skills

  • Ability to travel when required (against specific project needs, as opposed to on secondment)

  • Ability to comprehend, analyse and interpret complex business documents

  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, and management

  • Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, clients, and management
