JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing and implementing workplace and occupancy strategies to optimize space utilization, enhance employee productivity, and support the client’s business objectives. You will analyse occupancy data, conduct space planning activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create effective workspace solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of workplace trends and best practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement strategic workplace and occupancy plans in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Analyse occupancy data, utilization rates, and employee feedback to identify opportunities for space optimization and efficiency.

  • Conduct space planning activities, including space allocation, utilization analysis, and scenario planning.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and facilities, to understand departmental needs and requirements.

  • Recommend and implement innovative workplace strategies, such as flexible work environments, activity-based workspaces, and collaborative zones.

  • Develop and maintain space standards, guidelines, and occupancy planning methodologies.

  • Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to workplace design and occupancy planning.

  • Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate occupancy planning strategies, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies and make adjustments as necessary.

  • Stay up to date with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications related to workplace design and occupancy planning.

  • Lead the client relationship as the subject matter expert.

  • Carry out all duties in accordance with CBRE governance and standards

  • Develop medium to long term headcount forecasts for the regional portfolio plans, to be informed by intelligence gathered from business leads

  • Support development of framing documents, space budgets and business case analyses for aligned business groups

  • Develop and maintain site and regional master plans to Inform strategic planning and capital planning decisions

  • Align business strategic demand and medium to long term building supply to inform client real estate team on future accommodation needs

  • Support the development and implementation of occupancy and space utilization strategies to improve knowledge of how space is used

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES:

  • Proven experience in strategic occupancy planning, workspace design, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data to inform decision-making.

  • Proficient in utilizing occupancy planning software, space management tools, and data visualization platforms.

  • In-depth knowledge of workplace trends, space utilization metrics, and occupancy planning methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of sustainability principles and their application in workplace design and occupancy planning is a plus.
