Role Summary:
Ensure that routine and reactive maintenance is carried out to client assets, equipment and systems
Ensure all work requests are carried out within SLA
Work closely with onsite teams
Ability to carry out fault issues arising
Respond to Building Management System alarms, escalate and complete emergency repairs as required
Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Safe System of Work (Induction, RA MS, Permit to Work etc)
Ensure that ACOP’s applicable to the maintenance industry are followed
Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant
Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices
Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes
Develop a good working relationship with all members of CBRE staff and client’s staff
Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required
Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and always ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted
Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning
Ensure logbooks, shift hand-over and the client’s reporting is updated regularly and accurately
Have a flexible attitude to working overtime to cover other members of staff where needed.
Identify and report potential hazards
Set up meeting rooms for events and reset post events
Carry out porterage duties where required
Experience Required:
Basic education is essential, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in multi skilled disciplines (mechanical, fabric, water hygiene)
Experience of critical environment facilities maintenance, but not limited to, BMS operation, testing of electrical systems,
Basic/Intermediate electrical experience, undertaking reactive and planned preventative maintenance
Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities
Good computer skills are a necessity with ability to demonstrate a good use of excel, word and outlook
Excellent fault-finding skills
Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service
Calm manner, able to work under pressure
Sound knowledge and experience of Environmental, Health & Safety and regulatory requirements
Organisational and planning skills; manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to work to own initiative and as part of a team with minimal supervision
