Role Summary:

  • Ensure that routine and reactive maintenance is carried out to client assets, equipment and systems

  • Ensure all work requests are carried out within SLA

  • Work closely with onsite teams

  • Ability to carry out fault issues arising

  • Respond to Building Management System alarms, escalate and complete emergency repairs as required

  • Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Safe System of Work (Induction, RA MS, Permit to Work etc)

  • Ensure that ACOP’s applicable to the maintenance industry are followed

  • Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant

  • Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices

  • Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes

  • Develop a good working relationship with all members of CBRE staff and client’s staff

  • Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required

  • Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and always ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted

  • Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning

  • Ensure logbooks, shift hand-over and the client’s reporting is updated regularly and accurately

  • Have a flexible attitude to working overtime to cover other members of staff where needed.

  • Identify and report potential hazards

  • Set up meeting rooms for events and reset post events

  • Carry out porterage duties where required

Experience Required:

  • Basic education is essential, with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in multi skilled disciplines (mechanical, fabric, water hygiene)

  • Experience of critical environment facilities maintenance, but not limited to, BMS operation, testing of electrical systems,

  • Basic/Intermediate electrical experience, undertaking reactive and planned preventative maintenance

  • Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities

  • Good computer skills are a necessity with ability to demonstrate a good use of excel, word and outlook

  • Excellent fault-finding skills

  • Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service

  • Calm manner, able to work under pressure

  • Sound knowledge and experience of Environmental, Health & Safety and regulatory requirements

  • Organisational and planning skills; manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to work to own initiative and as part of a team with minimal supervision
