We are seeking to recruit a Managing Director for our EMEA region. This role is a key leadership position responsible for driving the overall growth, profitability, and success of the Graebel’s operations within the EMEA region. The MD will lead a diverse team, develop strategic initiatives, foster key partnerships, and ensure alignment with the company's global objectives. The MD position possesses strong leadership skills, excellent business acumen, and a deep understanding of the local market dynamics and cultural nuances. This position will be located in London.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share across the EMEA region.

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.

  • Working with Graebel’s Chief Revenue Office, establish sales objectives, forecasts, and performance metrics to measure progress and success.

Sales Operations and Execution:

  • Oversee all aspects of the sales process, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation, contract closure, and post-sales support.

  • Ensure efficient sales operations by optimizing processes, tools, and resources to maximize productivity and effectiveness.

  • Implement sales enablement initiatives, training programs, and performance incentives to empower the sales team and drive results.

    Business Development, Client Management, Operational Excellence:

  • In conjunction with the EMEA SVP of Client Services provides leadership and direction to the organization’s operational and client services teams, including Account Management, Global Service Delivery, Enterprise Excellence, Implementation, Supplier Development, Compensation Services.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, strategic accounts, and industry influencers to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions and offerings to meet client needs and address market demands effectively.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct regular performance reviews to maximize individual and team effectiveness.

  • Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing sales team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to foster a culture of excellence and achievement.

  • Invest in training, skills development, and professional growth opportunities to enhance the capabilities and competencies of the sales team.

Strategic Collaboration and Alignment:

  • Reporting to the EVP, Client Services, the MD will collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the President, CRO, COO, and MD in APAC, and other department heads, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and priorities.

  • Communicate market insights, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to inform strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level.

  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects to drive business growth and operational excellence across the organization.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee the financial performance of the EMEA region, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure that financial goals and targets are met while maintaining profitability and cost efficiency.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate risks within the EMEA region, including regulatory compliance, geopolitical instability, and market fluctuations. Implement risk management strategies to protect the company's assets and reputation.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards within the EMEA region. Implement policies and procedures to promote ethical behavior, transparency, and accountability.

Required Skills

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in global mobility management, with a focus on the EMEA region.

  • In-depth knowledge of immigration laws, tax regulations, and employment practices across multiple EMEA countries.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing global mobility policies and programs in a complex multinational environment.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, senior management, and external partners.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages spoken in the EMEA region is advantageou.
