Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting into the CFO, and working closely with the CEO, this role requires a self-motivated, independent and action-orientated individual who is seeking an opportunity to perform as a core member of the Finance team and has an aspiration to become a Finance Manager.
They will be working with senior manager and have the opportunity for quick growth opportunities.
Key role responsibilities include:
Assisting with the production of:
Weekly and monthly management accounts and draft commentary,
The firm's annual budget and forecasts and maintaining all budget models,
All statutory accounts,
Monthly expenditure and headcount reports for budget holders,
Debt analysis.
Preparation of the following:
P&L supporting schedules and balance sheet supporting schedules,
Company cashflow reports,
Weekly trading analysis and reports and monthly trading forecast models.
Management of monthly payroll process across 4 entities including:
Commission calculations,
Distribution of commission statements to all advisors,
Processing starters, leaver and other adjustments,
Accounts and balance sheet reconciliation
Management of supplier payments
Adhoc management account and data analysis
Ownership of PowerBI reporting and analysis
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will possess:
A minimum 2:1 Finance or Accounting degree and practical experience within Finance (min 1 year+)
A proactive mindset with the proven ability to work independently,
Aspires to be part of a small team working in a scale-up environment,
Power BI experience is highly desired.
