WTW Facultative Reinsurance Leader - Rest of World in London, United Kingdom

The Role

  • Drive line of business P&L in Rest of World (Europe, CEEMA, Asia, Australasia regions)

  • Manage and develop value proposition and drives IP / product development

  • Develop Cedent Relationships and Revenue on 1st & 3RD Party Business

  • Oversee geographic / regional LoB pipeline and sales opportunities, working closely with regional business leaders

  • Drive LoB P&L in relevant geography / region

  • Manage and develop geographic / regional LoB team and accountable for all talent reporting to that team

  • Manage LoB pipeline and sales opportunities working closely with business and LoB heads, Lead Client Relationship Directors, other geographic / regional heads and industry leader

  • Oversees geographic / regional marketing efforts

  • Drives geographic value proposition and IP / product development

  • Work with other geographic / regional LoB heads within Corporate Risk and Broking

Financial KPIs

  • Primary focus on CRB geographic / regional LoB P&L’s, i.e. revenue growth, direct Corporate Risk & Broking cost management and business Corporate Risk & Broking P&L

  • Works with other geographic / regional LoB leads, Lead Client Relationship Directors and Broking Leads to drive overall geographic / regional business growth and profitability

The Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Preferably educated to a degree, or MBA level (or country equivalent)

  • Preferably with professional qualifications, e.g. ACII or similar country equivalent, or relevant industry experience

Skills:

  • Excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of developing people

  • Strong skills in problem solving, planning and budgeting

  • High levels of business and financial acumen with an understanding of company strategy and change management

  • Proven track record of delivering new business against challenging sales targets

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence within a matrix environment

  • Strong facilitation skills – able to use inclusive and collaborative styles to manage ambiguity and gain agreement

  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills

  • Ability to act as an ambassador for the Company
