Job Title: Working Facilities Supervisor
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Working Facilities Supervisor to join our South team whose primary location will be a site Southeast London, also attending a site in East London once a week.
The successful candidate will provide supervision of sub-contracted hard and soft facilities services and will self-deliver non-technical planned preventative maintenance and fabric maintenance.
Key Tasks
· Ensuring the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical assets via specialist supply chain.
· Managing the soft services delivery in partnership with the supply chain.
· Ownership and self-delivery of non-technical tasks (e.g. fabric, basic plumbing, carpentry, lamp changes), organising of own materials / quotations from suppliers to enable completion of tasks.
· Ensuring that reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance is completed within contractual KPIs, as per the site(s) scope.
· Raise WebQuotes for extra works, ensuring that reactive tasks are progressed once the quote is approved, and the PO receipted upon completion of works.
· Support the Contract Manager with monthly billing.
· Maintaining on site paper and electronic compliance records for all statutory / non-statutory maintenance.
· Supporting the Contract Manager with internal / external audits.
· Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements, and contract specific H&S documentation.
· First line supervision of specialist service contractors, inclusive of Induction, setting to work, chaperoning (where required), issue of permit to work, spot checks and closure of permit to work.
· Ensure all contractors operate within CBRE’s A-Z rules.
· Take ownership and understand customer requirements and be able to demonstrate the ability to close out concerns and ensure customer is kept updated at all times.
· Supporting the Contract Manager remotely with raising WebQuotes and maintaining electronic compliance records for four locations in total.
Person Specification
· Ability to deliver non-technical repairs including but not limited to lamp changes, fabric maintenance, basic plumbing and carpentry.
· Strong PC skills, inclusive but not limited to Microsoft Office & CAFM system.
· Self-motivated and resourceful, requiring minimal supervision.
· Good administrative skills and attention to detail.
· Well organised and good prioritisation and planning skills.
· Practical experience in working with supply partners to deliver a seamless, integrated service.
· Customer services experience and the ability to communicate at all levels.
· Good QHSE knowledge essential. IOSH Managing Safely desirable.
