Corndel Excellence Support Officer - Part Time in London, United Kingdom

Role: EXCELLENCE SUPPORT OFFICER

Team: Excellence, Compliance  and Learner Experience

Package: Part-time, 3 days per week,  Pension, Unlimited leave, Flexible working 

Location: Remote working 

Salary:   £20,412 pro-rata (£34,020 FTE), based on experience

Reports to:  Director of Excellence, Compliance and Learner Experience

Corndel is recruiting an Excellence Support Officer with exceptional talent to join our rapidly growing business We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference and who is used to working hard and achieving personal success. Reporting to the Director of Excellence, Compliance and Learner Experience, the Excellence Support Officer will play an important role in supporting the delivery of high quality administrative services and evidence of quality feedback from across the business. You will be a highly motivated self-starter accustomed to using good administrative practices and skills to collate information that will be used by the quality team to drive improvement and increase impact. You will possess some experience of working within a quality and regulation focused education environment, be able to demonstrate good administrative skills and be familiar with using office applications whilst being able to balance multiple objectives and priorities in order to support your team.

Some of the tasks you will perform:

  • Assist the Director of Excellence, Compliance and Learner Experience, the Data and Quality Co-ordinator and the Head of Learner Experience to gather in learner feedback and evidence of quality interventions from across our business.

  • Diary Management as required for the team

  • Set up administrative files on SharePoint for the team

  • Support in the preparation of reports, PowerPoint and presentations to the wider Corndel team and for external inspectors

  • Support the production of reports, using Excel and Microsoft Forms.

  • Support the processing of incoming and outgoing mail for the team mailbox.

  • Assist in the collation and safe storage of all evidence of quality learner interventions from across Corndel to support quality inspections and our own interrogation of how we improve on learner delight

  • Assist in the collation and interrogation of learner feedback ensuring that this is scrutinised and shared so that learner experience can be improved

  • Support in the identification of excellence through collating evidence and identifying trends and impact

  • Helping co-ordinate internal staff events and meetings.

  • Photocopying and scanning of documents necessary for quality inspections

  • Professional telephone manner

  • Good attention to detail with a “get things right first” approach 

  • Good at partnership working and being part of a team with the same goal and outlook 

  • A natural completer finisher, with thoroughness and accuracy

  • Committed to their own personal development within Corndel, and continuously improve and develop your practice

  • Willingness to work as part of a team and also between the different teams within Corndel.

  • High levels of punctuality, reliability and integrity

  • Proactive and able to use own initiative with a willingness to take on responsibility

  • Some understanding of the teaching environment and the importance of excellence and quality learner interventions

  • Some understanding of the importance of the correct gathering, interpretation and acting upon learner feedback in order to improve our services

      Knowledge and experience 

  • A confident user of IT

  • Good understanding of Microsoft Programmes (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Forms)
